Around 11:45pm on 01.27.13 The City of Newark started to receive many phone calls for a building fire at the corner of Market St & Adams St. Apon arrival of the Battalion Chief verfied there was a building fire with Heavy fire on ther 1st and second floors of a 3 Story Building as the city"s units were responding and setting up, A second alarm was transmitted about 15 minutes later The heavy fire load was knocked down by deck guns and aerial devices and extierior handlines. it took fire fighters over a hour to bring the blaze under control units remained on the scene for a while hitting hotspots . There no reported injuries at the scene .
