Box Alarm Chippewa and Livernois, Detroit, MI 04/01/08
Shortly after 9:00a.m. Detroit fire dispach received a call reporting a fire in a auto repair shop. A box assignment was send. Engine 51 was first due, As soon as they left their station a large plume of smoke was visable. Engine 51 used several hand lines to bring the large volume of fire under control. The fire heavly damaged the 1 story building. Haz-Mat was dispatched to the scene due to the nature of the fire.The fire was knocked down and brought under control within 20 minutes
