The Hardwick House Restaurant a Warren County land mark destroyed by fire on 11.15.09
A Local Land Mark The Hardwick House Restaurant, was destroyed by fire. Just after 7:00pm The Blaistown Fire Department was dispatched for a possible fire at The Hardwick House at 47 Spring valley Road, in Hardwick Township . As the first fire department units arrived on scene they reported a working fire, and requested mutual aid immediatly and requested them to set up draft sites. Tanker task forces from Warren & Sussex Counties were dispatched to the scene. Long LDH lays were needed to supply the apparatus at the scene. Due to the lack of hydrants in the area . It took firefighters over three hours to bring the blaze under control. Newton's Snozzle was speical called to the scene. The Blaistown Ambulance Corps opperated a rehab and and first aid station on scene there were no reported injuries at the scene ..
