Mt Arlington 01.11.13 Local Eatery destroyed by Fire
Around 4:15 am on Jan, 11th The Mt Arlington Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire at a local Eatery Pub 199 on Howard Boulvard . Apon the arrival of Assit. Chief Shatzel had the Fire Dept be re-toned as a working fire in a commerical building. The Initial alarm of the confirmed fire brought Picatinny Arsenal, and Netcong as a RIT teams, and Jefferson #2 Engine for station coverage. As units were responding Assit Chief Shatzel Transmitted A 2nd Alarm Now Bringing Jefferson's Covering Engine and now a Quint to the scene, as well as now Roxbury Co 1 & 2 for a Ladder and Engine to the scene, and Hopatcong for station coverage. As Picatinnys Ladder went into service, and Netcong RIT team went to work, additional RIT teams from Budd Lake and Randolph were brought into the scene. It took over a hour to bring the fire under control . There were no reported injuries at the scene the cause of the fire is under invesgation by Morris County Arson Unit and the ATF. All units were cleared from the scene by 3:00pm.
