Multi Alarm Fire on 12.31.12 in Hasbrouck Heights
At 2:53 am on 12.31.12 Hasbrouck Height Fire Department received a call reporting a house fire at 320 Harrison Ave. A Police unit was First on scene , The Fire Department was notified of a working fire at that location. A 2nd Alarm was transmitted sending the Wood Ridge Fire Dept alnd also the Wallington Fire Dept to the scene as the fast team . Later a 3rd Alarm would transmitted .Firefighters made a aggressive attack then withdrawing the firefighters and going to a defensive attack to knock down the heavy fire load . Firefighters then re-entered the the home and knocked down the remaining hotspots . The firefighters were able to bring the house fire under control within a hour There were no injuries reported at the scene .
The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Dept was assisted by Wood Ridge, Lodi ,Little Ferry, Moonachie, and Wallington.
