On Feb 7,2010 Shortly before 4:00am The Newark Fire Dept was diaspatched for a reported fire in a vacant building at the corner of 14th Ave & S.14th street . Apon arrival of the fire dept Heavy fire was showing to the rear of the building on the 2nd Floor . This fire was quickly knocked down within minutes as the temp was in the mid teens
